Overview
A backroom installation featuring the juxtaposition of pictorial works by William Edward Dassonville (1879-1957) and John Chiara (b. 1971).

In collaboration with our friends at Rose Gallery and The McIntosh Collection, the presentation of eight works shows how two photographers, both committed to material innovation in their time, surveyed the hills and eucalyptus trees around San Francisco a century apart. This rare collection of Dassonville's charcoal-like silver prints, coupled with Chiara's vibrant, sculptural Ilfochrome works, are on view at the gallery through December 20th.
