Considered Adam’s most powerful and sought-after photograph of the Grand Tetons, this 8”x10” contact print was produced especially for the Grand Teton Lodge Company between 1959-1961. Although small in size, this contact print is the exact size of the 8”x10” negative and exactly how Ansel would have visualized the image on the ground glass of his view camera. Printed 1:1 with zero degree of enlargement, the contact print is the purest form of representation of a photograph, exhibiting a glowing richness, greater depth and stunning fidelity of detail.
