Fabiola Menchelli works acquired by the Getty Museum

We are excited to share that two works by Fabiola Menchelli from her Queer Horizons series have been acquired by the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles for their permanent collection. In addition to recent acquisitions by the Norton Museum of Art, Palm Beach and the Pérez Museum of Art, Miami, this acquisition further cements the broad recognition of Menchelli's practice.

Save the date for Fabiola's next solo exhibition opening at the gallery on September 12th.

Chris McCaw is a 2026 Guggenheim Fellow

We are delighted to belatedly share the amazing news and congratulate our friend Chris McCaw on being named one of 18 recipients of the 2026 Guggenheim Fellowship in the field of Photography. The fellowship is a huge honor for any recipient and long overdue for Chris' immeasurable contribution to the medium. The grant will provide support as Chris continues to expand his most recent photo-chemical endeavor in the Inverse series. A new presentation of McCaw's work will open at the gallery in 2027.

From the Guggenheim Foundation's press release:

“Our new class of Guggenheim Fellows is representative of the world’s best thinkers, innovators, and creators in art, science, and scholarship,” said Edward Hirsch, award-winning poet and President of the Guggenheim Foundation. “As the Foundation enters its second century and looks to the future, I feel confident that this new class of 223 individuals will do bold and inspiring work, undaunted by the challenges ahead. We are honored to support their visionary contributions.”
