David Samuel Stern: Third Person
Brooklyn-based artist David Samuel Stern presents a project room installation, Third Person, featuring a selection of recently produced, one-of-a-kind "Woven Portraits". The meticulous and mysterious interwoven works, comprised from three adjacent portraits, exist in an amorphous space between figurative and abstraction. Also showing are a suite of "Tree Patterns", geometric watercolors with ink over photography. Stern has been a long-time friend of the gallery and we're excited to share this curated look at his multi-disciplinary practice.
