ABOUT

Founded in 2018 and opened in 2021, Marshall Gallery exhibits the work of contemporary and 20th Century lens-based artists with an emphasis on experimental processes, printmaking craftsmanship and conceptual innovation. The artist roster and exhibition program focus increasingly on the intersection of lens-based practices with those of painting and sculpture. Through a consistent program of exhibitions, artist conversations, community events, and art fairs, the gallery aims to advance the conversation about the ever-evolving role of photography and video in contemporary art and their impact on shaping our collective memory.

Owner Douglas Marshall is a member of the Photographic Arts Council Los Angeles (PACLA), and a Board Member at the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD).

APPOINTMENTS

While walk-ins are always welcome, appointments are kindly requested for discussing works for acquisition or to visit Sunday - Tuesday (Book Here).
