These prints are from a Portfolio (edition of 5) produced under the supervision of the artist in 2008 from negatives that were later acquired by the Getty Research Institute along with most of Brittin’s print work and his collection of Los Angeles art world ephemera. Each print is signed and captioned as well as numbered by the artist in pencil. Two of the Five portfolios are in collections, so at most, only 3 prints of any image existed on the market. In some cases, only one print exists for sale.
