Paralelograms is a series that is part of the idea that opposite poles form part of the same system, whether atmospheric, luminary, ideological or political. Looking to bring my work to its minimum expression, I decided to fold the photographic paper and, in a single gesture, create two unfinished lines: one ascending and one descending; between both, the light slides in an almost imperceptible way, opening up a curved, in-between space.

It inspired me how something so simple could transform with light and how the opposite could coexist without conflict. In a deeply polarized world, this work seeks a space of engagement, where observing the most subtle encounters between light and shadow becomes a form of radical balance.
